Link Up: Projects, Events, Opportunity
Link Up is an international online project showcasing multimedia creativity of young people.
An ABC initiative, the project will culminate in the Link Up Virtual Forumat the 3rd World Summit on Media for Children to be held in Greece, March 2001.
At the Virtual Forum students have the opportunity to establish a dialogue with the international media. This allows them to pitch their ideas and discuss their experience with an international array of online and TV producers.
Participants, Places, Presentations
Link Up participants are people aged between 10-17 around the world from places including Thailand.
Prior to the Summit, participants present their lives, dreams and concerns via virtual postcards.
Participants also prepare their own agenda for virtual discussions to be held at 3rd World Summit on Media for Children.
